| Description We are glad to announce the return visit of MV Doulos to Phuket. About the MV Doulos: Built in 1914, the Doulos is an international mission ship owned and operated by GBA Ships e.V. (a non-profit charity organization registered in Germany) and travels all over the world, sharing the Gospel and partnering with the church. The ship is able to run because of the work of over 330 volunteers who come from 50 different nations, each with their own story of the work of God in their lives. The ministry of the Doulos is to ‘Bring Knowledge, Help and Hope’ to the people of the world. The Doulos will be in Phuket from the 18th November until the 27th November 2009 Onboard Book Shop: The Floating Book Shop onboard holds half a million books, with six thousand different titles covering a wide range of topics including science, sports, hobbies, cookery, arts, Christian and children’s books. The books have been carefully selected to be of interest to every member of the family and with the educational and social needs of the local community in mind. Most are available in English although a limited number of titles in other languages are also available.
