| Description Entertainment 24 Dec 09 – 03 Jan 10 Starting from December 24th through the New Year, Baba Poolclub will be alive with music. The following artists will be playing from sunset ‘til late. Please email jared@sripanwa.com for a more detailed schedule. Bonnie Anderson: “Let the sassy vocals of Phuket’s queen of Jazz and Soul take you into the night in style and luxury.” Ska Band: “A group of 4 young, local Thai friends who are beginning to make a real name for themselves in Phuket. Playing everywhere from the Reggae beach huts to Baba Poolclub, with a sound that’s very unique. Made up of a lead singer/trumpet, drums, bass & an electric guitar. These guys will keep you entertained will having dinner or beginning to shake it on the dance floor.” DJ Op: "A resident DJ of the high society club Escobar in BKK, Op had seen party of the Sri panwa circuit for a while now. A quiet guy who lets the music do the talking, he once played a 5.5hr set without a break. He loves music and we love him; we're pretty sure you will too! We look forward to welcome him back for some after dinner tunes that will get you shakin' your booty." DJ Paulie: "This year marks the 12th anniversary of Paulie's love affair behind the wheels-of-steel. He picked up his first vinyl in 1997 and began spinning everything from Hip Hop, Breakbeat, Funk, Electro to R&B. He is a DJ who has held onto the old school way of playing vinyls and mixing any genres he finds fits the moment. He plays at some of the biggest and best parties in Thailand and will definitely have you coming to the Poolbar for drinks just to get a taste of his tunes and the way he controls the 1-2's. He's a real show to watch!" DJ Tomo (Par): "Being part of the nightclub scene in Singapore for the last few years, Par has enjoy success with residents at some of the top clubs. His music expertise includes Reggae, Dancehall, Hip Hop and House. He will be ensuring that your nights at Sri panwa during this holiday stay alive." |
